Abstract

Study, synthesis and characterization of linear and cyclic oligo-peptide assemblies for Biomedical and Nanotechnological applications. Peptide self-assembly will be explored experimentally with the help of Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and/or Fibre diffraction techniques, as well as theoretically, using Molecular dynamics. Furthermore the effect of various conditions (solvents, temperature, concentration) on the resulting conformations will be examined.
