Abstract

Tamm plasmons are the state of electromagnetic field localized at the interface between Bragg reflector and metals. Resonant interaction of Tamm plasmons and exciton polaritons can be used for lateral localization of polaritons, which open the way for realization of polaritonic integrated circuits. Another promising application of Tamm plasmon is optoelctronic devices: low absorption of light is an interesting intrinsic property of Tamm plasmons.
